Spring has arrived and so has our latest newsletter, with three inspiring stories from readers who have been taught to read by our fantastic Read Easy coaches. Download the latest edition from this page and read the moving accounts of how Steve, Ben and Chay overcame their fears and are now reading.
We have 21 affiliated Read Easy groups offering one to one coaching on a voluntary basis and six Pioneer groups starting up in Cambridge, Cheltenham, Neath, Tewkesbury, Solihull and Wellington. Coach training continues apace and most groups have availability for more readers, so if you know anyone who struggles with their reading and would like some help, don’t delay – put them in touch with us today! If there is no group in your area, get in touch with judith@readeasy.org.uk and she will be able to advise if and when a group is in the pipeline.
For coaches and Committee members, our popular autumn conference date has now been fixed for Saturday 15 October. We are starting to organise this and put ideas together for the small group forums which proved so popular last year. If there is a particular topic you would like covered, please let us know – we will do our best to facilitate it.
