We’re delighted to welcome Debbie Penny as the brand new pioneer for Manchester South – shown here on the left hand side of the photo. Debbie has a wealth of experience as a former head teacher and dyslexia specialist, as well as being a governor in Wythenshawe. Over the next few weeks Debbie will be out and about in Wythenshawe, as we begin to spread the word about Read Easy, and make links with local referral agencies.
Vicky and Debbie were joined for their first planning meeting by Ginny the chihuahua, who has been sworn in as Manchester South mascot! As you can see, Ginny was particularly interested in the Turning Pages manual. Debbie and Ginny will be out and about in Wythenshawe, so do stop and say hello if you run into them.
If you live in South Manchester and would be interested in finding out more about the group, please feel free to get in touch in the first instance with the North West Regional Adviser, Vicky Richardson by email: vicky@readeasy.org.uk or mobile: 07931 138 350.
