Liz Cook (pictured here with James Hayes, Day Centre Officer) recently set herself the ‘Six Book Challenge’ at Peterborough Library and received a certificate for all her hard work.
Liz enrolled on the Read Easy scheme in October 2012 and in February 2013 received her Stage One certificate. About a month later and entirely on her own initiative, Liz joined Peterborough Central Library where she found out about the challenge. She is now enjoying reading Grandma’s Saturday Soup.
Liz said ‘I couldn’t read when I was a little girl, but I can read a little better now. It makes me feel happy’. Well done Liz!
