Nothing quite beats settling down with a good book. Encourage your fellow book lovers to support those who are currently unable to experience the escapism and joy a great book can bring.
Perhaps your book club could:
- hold a coffee morning?
- hold a second-hand book sale?
- invite a local author to speak at an open event?
- organise other fundraising events that appeal to you?
- or simply donate a pound or two each month when you meet
