Current volunteering opportunities:
There are lots of interesting ways to get involved in a Read Easy group and we often have vacancies, both on our local Management Team and for Reading Coaches.
- Team Leader: Due to the retirement of our friend and colleague ReadEasy Leeds are looking to recruit new Management Team Leader to join our well established and supportive team in delivering reading coaching to the people of Leeds. Established in 2021 ReadEasy Leeds has grown with over 20 coaches supporting people to gain or enhance their reading skills. This is supported by a volunteer management team that ensures all the requirements of the Charities Commission are met via a robust organizational framework. Central to the team is the Management Team Leader whose role includes; • Using your leadership skills to guide and support our team of volunteers • Manage meetings and set agendas • Exercise executive responsibility for the team in direction and decision making. • Be a champion and spokesperson for the group and the work of ReadEasy in the local community We would love to hear from anyone who is interested in becoming our new Team Leader and if you’d like to find out more about the role then contact Ray our recruiter; via email: leedsrecruiter@readeasy.org.uk or by phone on 07511 703277 Please share this if you know of someone who may be interested in the role
