What is the time commitment for Pioneering?

Read Easy Pioneers are passionate about making a difference in their community. Typically, a Pioneer will average three to six hours of Read Easy volunteering per week. These hours are flexible however, the role includes networking in the community to build local relationships which may require your time during typical business operational hours.

What support will I be given?

You will be supported throughout the Pioneering process by a local Read Easy Regional Adviser, who will give you a full induction session before you start and then be available to support you through each stage of the exciting process.

Read Easy UK provides all Pioneers with a Pioneer Handbook, containing detailed guidance on each stage of the process, plus a comprehensive bank of the resources you will need.
