Mel ran the London Marathon in support of Read Easy UK!

“I started running again during the first UK lockdown. I’d run in the past and really loved it, but, having two small children and working meant I had little time (and far too many excuses) not to get back out there. Lockdown meant more time but also, I found that getting outside daily really helped my mental health. For the first time, I noticed the impact of exercise on my mood and started to look forward to running in the evening.

Read Easy is such a fantastic charity  and I’m so happy to have raised £1,060 which will go towards setting up new groups, supporting new Reading Coaches and ultimately reaching more adults who need support with learning to read.”
