Current volunteering opportunities:

There are lots of interesting ways to get involved in a Read Easy group and we often have vacancies on our local Management Team. At the moment we are particularly looking to fill the following roles:

  • Team Leader
  • Venue Organiser
  • Safeguarding Champion
  • Publicity Organiser

Click here for the Read Easy Barking & Dagenham Volunteer Application Form.

If there is a role listed here that would suit you, please either contact Read Easy Regional Adviser, Susan Hollins, using the contact details above, or complete a form using the link above.

Read Easy Barking & Dagenham is not recruiting Reading Coaches or enrolling Readers at the moment. When the group is in a position to do so, having fully established their Management Team, this page will be updated.

If there are no suitable opportunities for you at the moment, you can still get in touch if you would like to and we will keep a note of your interest, if you are happy for us to keep your details.

If you would like to find out more about each of our volunteer roles click here.

About our group:

Read Easy Barking & Dagenham established in March 2022 and covers the London borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Read Easy groups are financially independent from Read Easy UK, and we are responsible for raising all the money needed to keep our group going. If you would like to support our work, please get in touch to find out how.
