Current volunteering opportunities:

There are lots of interesting ways to get involved in a Read Easy group and we often have vacancies, both on our local Management Team and for Reading Coaches. At the moment we are particularly looking to fill the following roles:

  • Literacy Specialist (Literacy support to our Reading Pairs. Time commitment: approx. 4-5 hrs per month)
  • Coordinator: We're looking for a compassionate and understanding volunteer to help with the day-to-day running of the group, available during the working week, ensuring our Reading Pairs have the day-to-day support they need on their reading journey. Time commitment: 3+ hrs p/w (working hours)
  • Reading Coach: Coaching an adult to read (full training provided). Time commitment: 2 x 30 minute sessions p/w

Please get in touch with Cheryl at hackneyrecruiter@readeasy.org.uk if these vacancies would suit you.

If there are no suitable vacancies listed at the moment, you can still get in touch if you would like to, and we can keep a note of your interest, if you are happy for us to keep your details.
