Current volunteering opportunities:

We’re a small friendly group and there’s lots of ways to get involved. You can volunteer as a Reading Coach or join our management team to help run our local group. If there is a role listed here that would suit you, please contact the Volunteer Recruiter or complete a form using the ‘Enquire now’ button below.

  • Literacy Specialist - we’re looking for someone with the experience and expertise to provide support to Reading Coaches and assist in running the Reading Coach meetings. The person who takes on this role should have a background in teaching reading/literacy (preferably but not necessarily with adults).
  • Coordinator - as a Read Easy coordinator you would be meeting and enrolling adults who want to learn to read and interviewing volunteer Reading Coaches with a member of the management team. You would then pair them up and offer ongoing support throughout their reading journey.

About our group:

Read Easy Lambeth is a new Read Easy group. We affiliated with Read Easy UK in December 2022 and are now supporting adults who want to learn to read in our community.

Read Easy groups are financially independent from Read Easy UK, and we are responsible for raising all the money needed to keep our group going. If you would like to support our work, please get in touch to find out how.
