About our group:

Read Easy Tower Hamlets started in March 2022. It is dedicated to helping adults within the London borough of Tower Hamlets, learn to read.

Tower Hamlets has been identified as having the second lowest literacy rates in England; over 18,000 adults within the borough have poor reading skills. Our vision is for adults within the borough to have the literacy skills they need to realise their potential and live life to the full.

We need your help to change people’s lives! You can follow us on Instagram here: Read Easy Tower Hamlets

Read Easy groups are financially independent from Read Easy UK, and we are responsible for raising all the money needed to keep our group going. If you would like to support our work, please get in touch to find out how.

  • Rotary Club of Tower Hamlets
  • The National Lottery
