I was looking for a new volunteering opportunity and Read Easy really stood out to me, especially hearing how people struggled with simple forms and signs. As Publicity Organiser, I make sure we have the right materials for our partners to be able to promote the scheme and I use social media and work with the local media to share the wonderful stories about the progress our readers are making.

We had some great coverage in a national newspaper about one of our readers.

I love attending the Read Easy conference every year – meeting other groups and hearing more stories from readers is so inspiring.
