Thank you so much for considering donating to Read Easy UK in memory of your loved one.

A gift in memory of a loved one is a wonderful tribute to their life and a touching way to help support our life-transforming work helping adults learn to read.

Organise a funeral or memorial event collection

Many people choose to ask family and friends for donations in lieu of flowers. If you would like to organise a collection in aid of Read Easy UK, we can offer support and advice. Please get in touch on 01388 435 021.

You may wish to ask your funeral director to organise this on your behalf – if so, we would be happy to liaise directly. Your funeral director may find it helpful to know Read Easy UK is registered with Memory Giving.

Special date collections

Some choose to remember a loved one by making a donation on a special date like a birthday or anniversary. You may even wish to create a donation page in memory of those who are no longer with us, so that family and friends can remember together. If you wish to set up a donation page in support of Read Easy, you can do so through JustGiving.

Donate by post

Sometimes friends and family prefer to donate by cheque. If this is the case, cheques should be payable to ‘Read Easy UK’ and posted to:

Read Easy UK
Unit 3, Batsford Estate Yard,
Batsford,
Moreton-in-Marsh,
Gloucestershire
GL56 9QF

If you are a taxpayer, we would be very grateful if you could send in a completed Gift Aid form with your cheque. This will allow us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 that you give.
Please click here for our Gift Aid form.

We understand how challenging a time this can be, so please do call us on 01388 435 021 or email fundraising@readeasy.org.uk if there is anything we can do to make things easier. Thank you for thinking of Read Easy UK.

"Since learning to read, I have gained the confidence to read in public and ask questions. In restaurants, I can make my own choices and not have to copy someone else's."
